DESCRIPTION:The Business Leaders Wine Club invites you to celebrate The Spirit of Wine in every sense of the word.  This is an event to celebrate where wine meets imagination.  Expect expressions of the fermented grape that are fortified\, aromatised\, flor-ed and distilled with purpose. \nWe are delighted to be taking over the top floor of the fabulous Plotting Parlour\, a hidden gem Tucked away on New Steine Street near Brighton Pier.   Renowned for its expertly crafted cocktails and elegant atmosphere.  Its private top floor offers a stylish\, intimate space\, making it the perfect location for meaningful conversations and connecting with like-minded people over a great drink. \nYou will begin the evening with a perfectly crafted Negroni\, setting the tone for a journey through the many forms that the grape can take. \nOur guided tasting will feature a handpicked selection of Marsala\, Tawny Port\, Manzanilla Sherry and a uniquely crafted Vermouth from Hove\, each with its own remarkable story and flavour profile. \nWe’re also joined by Michael Yeoman of The Spirit of the Downs\, a highly regarded Sussex distiller whose award-winning creations are found in some of the country’s finest bars. Michael will share insights into how his team transforms locally sourced grapes into truly exceptional spirits.  This will be a showcase of innovation\, sustainability and craftsmanship. \nAn evening designed to surprise\, inspire\, and connect\, proving that there’s much more to wine than what’s in the bottle. \nDate: Wednesday 19 November 2025\, 5-7.30pm \nLocation :  The Plotting Parlour\, 6 New Steine Street\, Brighon BN2 1TE \nTicket price includes a welcome negroni\, a tasting of 4 wines and 2 spirits as well as a selection of bites to accompany them. \nLimited places so please book early!
